A sweet bluebird perched on a branch of bright red berries! This painting was inspired by my grandmother, Virginia, and her love of birds. The bluebird is the state bird of New York, where my grandparents had a cottage. These berries grew abundantly there and became the namesake for their cottage - Bittersweet.
